The Hosting Flag Handover Ceremony for ICTA 2025
On 16th November 2024, Information Technology Institute, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-ITI) officially received the host flag for the 4th International Scientific Conference on Advances in Information and Communication Technology (ICTA 2025). The prestigious event marked a significant milestone for ICTA conference series, which was firstly organized at Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) in 2016 and 2023. In 2024, the 3rd ICTA was co-organized by ICTU and Hung Vuong University (HVU), which is the first time ICTA was brought outside ICTU Since 2024, ICTA has become the event that is co-hosted by ICTU and its partners, which are FISU members or prestigious institute in the field of ICT. Institute of Information Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi is one of the best choices.
The handover ceremony took place during the opening session of ICTA 2024, held in Hung Vuong University. Distinguished guests included representatives from international universities, research institutions, and scientists, researchers in the ICT field. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phung Trung Nghia, ICTU Rector, Chair of ICTA 2024 Organizing Committee, ceremoniously handed the hosting flag to Dr. Le Quang Minh, Vice Director of VNU-ITI. In his acceptance speech, Dr. Minh expressed gratitude for the honor and confirmed ’s commitment to fostering innovation and research in ICT. He also outlined initial plans for ICTA 2025, emphasizing theme “TOWARD THE MODERN TECHNOLOGIES AND APPLICATIONS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND SEMICONDUCTOR” for ICTA 2025.
ICTA 2025 presents a unique opportunity for researchers to showcase their research capabilities and academic excellence in the field of ICT. This event aligns with Vietnam’s national strategy to enhance digital transformation and solidify its position as a regional ICT hub. ITI-VNU has already begun preparations to ensure the success of ICTA 2025. The receipt of the host flag for ICTA 2025 marks an exciting chapter for ITT-VNU and Vietnam’s ICT community. By hosting this esteemed conference, ITI-VNU aims to contribute to global ICT advancements while fostering a vibrant academic and research environment within the region.
